23.04.2008: Aseptic and Ultra-clean by miromatic for Large Containers
Miromatic, Egg a. d. Günz, the filling machine specialist, have now presented an aseptic bucket-filling machine as a specific further development on the ultra-clean filling-machine technology. The new miromatic com-a is designed for container sizes from 1 kg up to 10 kg and is capable of aseptically filling up to 3500 kg of a product per hour.
In many branches, this kind of aseptic filling belongs very much to the future. What was, up till now, the norm only for smaller receptacles, is now possible for large containers: Dairies, manufacturers of fruit preparations and producers of delicatessen products are the predestined users. The aseptic filling branch of the newly designed miromatic com-a, fulfils all guidelines of the VDMA for hygienic filling machines, class V, for liquid and paste comestible goods.
In order to achieve an optimal process safety, miromatic designed the machine with two separated areas. The so-called “gray” area is pressurised with sterilised air and makes it possible to use the machine also for ultra-clean filling and for the filling of fresh products. At the same time, it presents a buffer to the actual sterile tunnel, the “white” area, thereby increasing safety. The container steriliser, container dryer, container filler and the sealing unit are all found in this tunnel. The tunnel is likewise flooded with sterile air. This process guarantees that an aseptic filling occurs. In order to avoid any pollutants from getting into the sterile tunnel, the filler valve and sealing stamp guidance mechanism is separated from the sterile tunnel with the help of a newly developed sterile lock.
With this all-round machine, miromatic can now offer the highest process safety in aseptic filling of large containers.
